Dissecting the Web to Reveal the Bare Bones.

Behind every website their is the source code that defines the design, and adds the content. The content is added by humans, who do not always have your interests at heart, indeed... lurking in the recesses of their minds, are hidden agendas, which we will look at within.

Deragon (2007) suggests that there is a hidden game appeal behind social networks, which inconveniences others. These plans trap networkers into the craze of building a larger network, and compete with top networkers to build the biggest network in connections, but not the relationships.

A prime example of this is the Business & Social Network, Ecademy, where Thomas Power a guru of spin, convinces Joe Public that he is important, and when the flurry of emails comes in; Joe builds his network and his profile, believing and believing that he will win in the connections. The web of deceit around Joe’s vision is marred by the notion spun on the web of Ecademy, that he will visualize his success, and in every connection, Joe wonders ‘what he can get out of it’, which takes the emphasis away from the idea of mutual respect in Winning by Sharing, to sell, sell, and sell.

All of Joe’s time and thinking is captured by Ecademy and by the system of success and false promises. Joe becomes enslaved according to Deragon (2007). Underneath Ecademy it is suggested that there is a cult, and Deragon (2007) goes further in his title, to suggest with whom and with what?

The Ecademy ethos lies in the Law of Attraction, a central point of the web spun around Joe Public, to convince him that he can visualize his success and improve his wealth. Joe becomes enslaved with the idea that life can become better if he mixes with successful people, and Joe takes his eyes away from his understanding of life and it’s difficulties, and goes deeper into this delusion of grandeur.

Triumphant Events lures Joe Public to an event at the London Palladium, where there are charismatic leaders behind The Secret which is a film, marketed as being apparently true.

The event organized by Triumpant Events and XL Results has been hailed a success of mammoth proportions, and written about, inside Ecademy. Interestingly enough XL Results are partners with other organizations, and Thomas Power is apparently one of their directors.

Will Joe Public remain an innocent business owner, a networker on Ecademy, or will he become a recruit somewhere along the lines, to something which he was not aware of when he joined?
