How Can I Establish My Reputation?

As I sit in front of my computer I turned to ask myself a question about the things that I could eventually blog about.
Blogging is really a light narration of ideas or sheer daily events that one finds worthwhile to share. It serves different purposes and can be used to convey goals in a way that is easier to absorb.
I would have considered blogging as something that's totally out of my league considering that I have a lot of other things to think about and consider in my trade. But having to sit long in front of my PC, I couldn't help but see trivial things that we sometimes tend to set aside because of it's "triviality" shall I say.
Come to think of it, nobody's really too old to blog.
Given the idea of self expression and the numerous events that happen to us each day, it really would be nice to share with people things that we find amusing and things that we consider worthwhile to think about.
I can blog about how my youngest child did well in their school play or how I felt when the stock market took a plunge. I can talk about the most trivial issue of car detailing or I can speak and entice opinion on the US Presidential race. Would it be Clinton or Obama?
I can blog about almost anything under the sun or anything that I feel could be worth sharing. Through blogs, I could share my experiences on how I run my business and ask for advice or opinions on certain things that goes my way.
The rule is basically talk about something that takes your interest and for as long as you don't stray nor step on other people's shoes, then there's no way that things would go wrong.
