Beware of Events that boast to change your life and legacy.

Today I am not selling, and not the slightest bit interested in Daniel Priestley, and his company Triumphant Events.....by this time I am absolutely fed up about hearing about Roger Hamilton, but they don't care - they will fill your email with spam.

Imagine how they sale - they use words like irresistible, meaningful and life changing to describe their power selling events, and then persuasion "Your Life, Your Legacy" - What could possibly be more important than that!? I can tell you that when someone comes up to you and says that their product can do all that - it's just suggestion and nothing more - don't be fooled!

It would be an event for people on a journey, who are here to make the most of their time on this planet... And who know what an important role an enterprise can play in that. Do you really need to have words like that shoved in your ears? They just want money - use your intuition and avoid it.

I don't believe him, do you? Beware of wolves in sheep clothing trying to selll you temptation, trying to suck the money out of your pockets........

Daniel Priestley uses networks like Ecademy to fool you, except I'm not buying it anymore.....and I don't need to hear the sweet voice of Roger the Rabbit to entice me either - avoid the event, and Triumphant Events like the plague.......

There is always a sharp about, not caring what he is selling - just interested in his £ of flesh, don't get corporate.

    Dear Catch Friday,

Thanks for taking the time to generate feedback on our email campaign.

I genuinely believe in my events and am confident that they are unique and value for money.

To add some perspective to your comments I want to make the following points:

    1. The name "Your Life Your Legacy" is taken from Roger Hamilton's most recent book. The book chronicles the lives of 38 top entrepreneurs and the commonalities between them. You will most likely see it on the best-seller list in the next 12 months in the UK and the US.

    2. It is definately important to think about sales, marketing, networking, copywriting, finance etc and there are lots of events for that. It is rare to stop for two days and consider the overall context of this in your life and your legacy.

    3. This is the first time the event has run and it will talk about the trends in the market over the next 10 years. The information in this event is bespoke to todays biggest issues. For this reason, your opinions are based on the promotional emails you have seen and I would encourage you to see the event and then make further comment. I am happy to make a media pass available to you.

    4. The event is two and a half days and is priced between £100-£400 per ticket. This is relatively inexpensive compared to other London events.

    5. In the last 18 months TE has had over 30,000 bookings with most people re-attending further events with us. We have over 600 marketing partners and hundreds of raving fans.

    7. I have poured my heart and soul into building a company that I love and believe in and have invested and reinvested everything into it. Your comments relating to financial motives simply wouldn’t stack up.

As always, you can direct any genuine feedback you have directly on info@triumphantevents.co.uk

    Daniel,

I know a guy who attended one of your events last year, he told me that after the talk, attendees are invited to a breakfast with Roger Hamilton - there is a show of hands, and there is also a sale on attendees becoming life members of XL.

You have been clever to plant members in the audience who put their hands up to join at £6000 a head.....just a few people might think there getting a good deal?

At the breakfast you close the doors and subject them to the type of selling that Landmark Education do, but after all you are affiliated with Landmark aren't you?

There is something very sinister about your branding, even supernatural don't you think?

I notice that I am not alone in complaining - there appear to be quite a number of people who are turned off.

I wonder if there is something cultish about the event?

Great, that way, the link between XL and Landmark will come under greater scrutiny by cult experts and their end is nigh.

XL, Landmark, The Hunger 'Project' and the StepUp 'Foundation' are grandiose money-hungry CV^ts!

They are also very, very boring. Like all cults.
