What is the value of Testimonies, when you have left the platform

What happens in life when you disagree with someone? Normally a debate....but what if you disagree with the powers that be?

They kick you off their network.....how many of you have been kicked off Facebook / My Space and elsewhere? The problem is that people perceive that you must have been naughty to have been dumped, don't they!

I wasn't in that way, but I did manage to upset the apple cart, when I demonstrated what was wrong!

See my earlier blogs on Ecademy, contained in my blog http://quick.catchfriday.com/

How do you value testimonies?

Below are some testimonies that I had whilst on Ecademy 2005 - 2007

For the links I looked them up on Google - not all the networkers are on Ecademy some have left.......

Testimonials

Lawrence really puts himself out for people! I am very glad to have met him through
Ecademy and look forward to a fruitful relationship with him.

- Simon (Cartoons) Ellinas

Lawrence proved himself a very gentle person who is caring enough to step up to
someone and wanting to help him, when that person is about to make a mistake.
Lawrence is sure another good guy on Ecademy!

- Jean (Gentle) Loyens

Lawrence practices what he preaches; he believes in people power and he shares what
he can to help fellow Ecademists - a true networker, who passes on contacts to people he
thinks would benefit. Cheers!

- Caroline Johnstone

Lawrence has been a wonderful asset to ecademy. His networking skills go way above
expectations.

- Dawn Little

A genuine guy who runs a 'real' business (or two) and is not afraid of promoting it, himself,
or the benefits of ecademy. I like his friendly approach and his subtle yet up-front style.
We need more like him.

- Angus (Fife) Whitton

Lawrence has a great way about him, very inclusive and puts back a huge amount. Well
done and it is a pleasure to be part of your network.

- Karen Purves

Lawrence is a friendly, approachable individual, who is keen to give sound advice that is
in your best interest. Professional, patient and totally genuine. Connect with Lawrence,
you'll be glad you did.

- Dan "FileMaker Pro" Stuchbury

Lawrence is just outstanding : what a pleasant and charming person to spend time with.
You surely miss an excellent Networker when you are not connected to him. Thank you,
Lawrence, for giving me this opportunity to meet you in person.

Lawrence is an unusual networker for being both absolutely great and committed to the
art, and bringing a true mentoring skill to bringing out one's thoughts about oneself and
one's situation. He has ideas in bucketfuls and brought me out from lurking in his club to
the encouregement of a few. He rang me to give me the benefit of some ideas and ended
up coaching me. He is an absolutely great networker and a very nice person too.

- Maurice Poole

Lawrence has a passion and a dream which he works very hard to try and make happen
for the Filipino people. Often misunderstood, it is worth networking with Lawrence who is
one of the kindest most considerate people you can ever meet, to really find out what he
is about.

- Roger Vanstone

I recently met Lawrence and had the opportunity to sit with him and learn from him. I found him to be an open, honest, caring person full of knowledge and experience, with a willingness to share. I hope to meet with him again and I hope you are also privileged to do so.

The eyes are the "window to the soul" and Lawrence has such engaging eyes reflecting his care and desire to help. I look forward to learning more about him and his many passions and business interests.

I met Lawrence yesterday at a Netwalk in Richmond. He's a very enthusiastic person, someone who tries to help wherever he can.

After writing a blog about the difficulties of finding employment when you reach 50, Lawrence very kindly suggested where I might search, and offered his help to me in obtaining a suitable position.

This is what trusted connections is all about, and I can highly recommend Lawrence, as a person who believes that helping people is one of the principles of life. His other testimonial confirm what I am saying!

Thank you Lawrence, very much!

I have not yet had the pleasure of meeting Lawrence, but he does us a great service on ecademy in reminding us of the importance of compassion, service to the widest community and unconditional gratitude for the lives we are able to lead.

I was very touched by Lawrence's warmth and terrific people skills. He is clearly passionate about increasing the Phillipine economy and bringing business and work opportunities to as many people as he can.
I find Lawrence a stimulating person with great values and a view on everything, and at the same time hugely focussed on the deal.
Lawrence a pleasure to be in your network.
Take care

Lawrence embodies the abundant view of life - Win-Win-Win. Deal with him and not only will both parties prosper, but the benefits will spread to others. Despite his protestations, I find him a shrewd businessman with the key skill of "keeping it simple". He is sitting on a goldmine, seeking miners.

Lawrence is one of life's givers. He is currently helping Father Dexter in the Philippines rebuild his local town which suffered a fire calamity. In addition he is helping to bring work to the Philippines by actively promoting outsourcing from the UK. This has the added benefit of bringing services to the UK SME market that they could not otherwise afford; a win win situation. Well done Lawrence.

Lawrence insists on helping people! smile He actively encouraged me to look at an additonal publisher for my book and I made time to look at the website he suggested as I trust his intention to open up new life-enhancing opportunities for his connections. That is the spirit of goodwill networking and I am sure that all that goes around comes around ...this law of nature makes Lawrence a very wealthy guy! smile Good for you Lawrence!

I have to say, Lawrence is one of the most helpful people I have come across in here to date - anyone would do well to have him in their network! Thanks

I did never expect someboby from other country to come over and say "I would like to help you in your work." This is none other than Larry. As i was talking with him, i came to know how kind he is to people specially to those who are in need. I saw in him Jesus who is alive in promoting the lives of the less privileged. How i wish there will be more persons who would like to share their time, talent, energy, love and life for the promotion of the life of the poor. 'For there is no greater love than this, to lay down one's life for his friends.' I believe Larry is laying down his precious life for the least; this is the key to true happiness.

I have missed out giving my own testimony to the man who has helped me find this resource in the ecademy. I am referring to Lawrence. Perry. i would describe him as a person of integrity, having precise ideals, commitment, very honest, and thought provoking man of his time. I admire his boldness and courage of believing in our capacities and capabilities as social workers to be at par with the rest of the world in terms of delivering social care overseas.

I would say he was the first British man i met who has a heart for the less privileged people of my country. I also recognized his deep sense of spirituality when we had an exchange of his own vision in making a difference in this chaotic world. His world view of connectedness has inspired me to write and blog here in the ecademy. Indeed he made the right choice for me to become a member.

I feel so richly blessed to have met him and will always pray for his good deeds to other fellowen.I pray that employers will help him realize his dream of helping qualified social workers (count me) to serve his own country.

Keep your energy going...

best wishes,

juliet

Lawrence does fantastic work with highly qualified people from the Filipines where he owns a recruitment agency with a long and successful history. Having married into a Filipino family he truly has their best interests at heart. The candidates that he can bring in are all fully qualified and will perform very well in the UK, or in any other environment where the English langauge can be used. I can fully recommend his services.

Lawrence,

A truly sincere, honest, direct from the heart Testimonial will always remain amazingly powerful regardless of what platform, field of endeavor, media genre or particular circumstance it originally arises from.

It really doesn't matter what specific company, circumstance, platform, or industry a great testimonial comes from.

I've had some totally awesome, appreciative, and deeply sincere, highly positive testimonials and referrals from my writing work in newspaper and magazines get me new gigs and clients in radio. I've had awards and honorable mentions for my work done in direct mail marketing get me new gigs and clients for website copywriting.

It was actually my writing work performed in radio that got me my first jobs working as a corporate / celebrity "Ghost-Writer!"

Peoples true, sincere appreciation and heart-felt praise and words of thanks are "multi-purpose: Good Words that are as much a reflection on what a professional, cool, easy to get along with, creative, competent, timely, organized, fun and enjoyable person you are to work with, whether that work is done writing newsletter articles, website content, a sales letter or a television and radio marketing campaign.

Hey, .......if it all good,..... then believe me my friend, it's "ALL GOOD!"

Gnome Sane???

What if you disagree with the powers that be? Good question Lawrence?

Reminds me of Beowulf, Angela Jolie & Anthony Hopkins conversation in the film Beowulf...Did you kill the monster, Beowulf. Yes, I killed the monster.

But in reality(real world)you just can't do that. You can't break your own rules. You can't break your own success. You just can't break your own happiness. Remember Joker's philology in the movie Dark Knight because YOU COMPLETE ME. He said it loud & clear peepz.

Power, Success, Gold & voluptous body of Angela Jolie are drugs Lawrence because if it all good, it's ALL GOOD!.

Only one person in this world can say no to power, success & gold. He preferred the lepers blood rather than his own personal ambition in life. His name is BEN-HUR(classic DVD)

Lawrence there is always both sides - the positive & negative, good & bad, happy & sad etc etc. This is always simultaneously to the exact degree. If one sees one side only then they are not seeing the balance of the powers that be.

Everyone lives their lives according to their values in life. There are no two people that have the exact values in life. A debate arises when values are gone against what ones beliefs are. The key is the communication in terms of others values... a great way for a debate just go against someones values!

There are no problems as these are only opportunities and one should be grateful for these when they arise.

From a copywriter's viewpoint testimonials are your most powerful weapon of mass influence.

Many times when you have a couple good 'before and after' video testimonials with people showing how your product or service was the only factor in their life they changed to achieve the 'after' result, you can just have the video testimonial, a headline and make sales.

They're that powerful.

And judging by the amount, length and detail of the testimonials you've received you're doing good work. Keep adding value my friend.

Alexander
