The Growing Demand for Homebased Workers

Frankly speaking, there have been several problems that have affected the world in the last few months. The oil price exceeded $100 per barrel and the crisis in the financial and banking sectors would have been viewed badly had it not been for the passing of the bailout plan. The US is not the only country that has experienced this financial enigma, but other developed countries like Japan, UK, South Korea, Australia, and other European countries.

This has paved the way for businesses to declare bankruptcy and close or to cut down their expenses on operation and employees for the sake of saving their own assets.

The move to cut down employees also opens doors to many outsourcing companies offshore and inevitably to homebased workers.

A normal company would be spending a lot of money from their profits to pay for their energy consumption, taxes, and compensation of their employees. The salaries of the employees are the main concern of every company as the employees are their only source of workforce. By cutting the number of employees, companies productivity and profit is expected to decline.

In order for businesses to survive, they have to hire employees that are paid lower that the usual employees but they can only do this by contracting homebased workers through outsourcing companies.

The Philippines is one of the best providers of virtual personal assistants and other homebased workers.

There is a company in the UK that employs Filipinos as virtual assistants and offers competitive prices. CatchFriday. This company is proof that demands for outsourced projects and homebased workers are in full bloom as it has experienced an increase in projects.
