More Moms Prefer Working at Home
With the advent of the computers and the internet, gone are the days that people need to waste energy and effort to buy their favorite clothes. Gone are the days that people needed to pay for their bank loans and credit card dues. Gone are the days that they need to personally report in the school. And now, gone are the days that people need to be at the office to work.
Millions are now embracing home-based work rather than the usual office jobs. In America alone, about 10 percent of the employees are actually working at home.
The big credit here is that, part of the percentage is shared among moms who cannot report at the office because of other priorities at home. Home-based jobs are now becoming a fad to moms worldwide. The fact that moms do not need to be in the office to perform their office duties is a great benefit for them. Through home-based jobs they can be able to do the things they wanted to do in the comfort of their homes. Because of home-based jobs, moms are able to do their household chores well and attend to their children.
Other countries particularly those home to outsourcing business such as the Philippines also have embraced home-based jobs. Like in the US, moms from these countries are also benefiting from working at home. Catch Friday, a British outsourcing company, is one proof of the growing number of Pilipino moms who work at home. The company's workforce is in the Philippines and portions of this workforce are mothers who are balancing their home-based jobs and other household tasks.
