Would having a merchant account change your business, and increase your customers?

Entrepreneurs and small businesses genuinely think so, and those who are fed up with Paypal, may believe that having their own account can increase their business.

Of course for all these reasons I decided to have one and approached Godaddy, who referred me to Pay Vision, who then refused me, because they did not think I had enough business – well we all have to start off small don’t we?

Then I saw an advert for the HSBC bank, and set up  a bank account with them, and a merchant account, and they welcomed me.

They sent me all the procedures for setting up the CPI integration, but it was not so easy to set up the script that would add the transaction to the payment cart and the integration with Paypal and the bank.

My programmer was able to integrate our shopping cart with Godaddy, HSBC and PayPal and now it is all systems go. 

Thank heavens that it is good that we have virtual assistants available twenty two hours a day to give the support, that you would want.

At least our shopping cart runs by itself, and not through a third party who charges maintenance
