Is the motive in Binghamton shootings Al Qaeda?

Suicide is all too common when it comes to killing people, and 9/11 should we be really shocked where it comes from?

What do we know about this story?

We need to focus on the shooter - a young Asian man in his 20s - Jiverly Wong, a man who rarely socialised and made few friends.

What were his thoughts?

We know he planned the shooting, and he drove his van behinf the building to stop people coming out.

We can gather from this that he knew the center, and knew which classroom the citizenship training was being taught in. So his killing was not random but premeditated.

So what motivated him?

Was it that he felt marginalized, a foreigner not able to absorb the American dream?

Or was it that he was identifying with the Taleban in Pakistan and Afghanistan, as media claims, and now Baituallah Mehsud, the leader of the Pakistani Taleban claims.

Do we accept this claim, or do we put it squarely where it belongs as rhetoric - Jiverly Wong left no suicide note, no paper trial, just the people who he murdered in this cold senseless killing, by a man deranged.
