How important is market awareness? There are different ways a company can take advantage of social media to increase market awareness. The fact that social media can reach millions of people makes them great tools for sending marketing messages to consumers.  A company can use social media to establish itself as an expert in its field or establish itself as a thought leader in its industry.  The company can use social media to launch multi-media campaigns to promote the company and its products.They can also be used to provide information and entertainment. Social media can also be used to establish stronger connections with the public.  There are so many things a business can do to take advantage of social media with the end-result of creating better market awareness.  Social media are channels that can reach the market; it is up to the business to really take full advantage of them.  What’s great about social media is that they are free, at least most of them are. You can launch a full-scale campaign targeting your market for a small cost.
