Who’s Behind CEOs that Blog?
There are more and more CEOs who are choosing to blog.
As more and more CEOs and business owners begin to blog, more and more of them also realize what a powerful tool the blog can be and just how difficult it is to manage a blog that works for the business.
But there is one secret that some CEOs apply to blogging so that they can really focus on their tasks in the workplace but also present their views about the company, its industry and products and services to the public- they hire a virtual assistant to do the blogging for them.
Have you ever wondered how some of the most successful CEOs still find time to blog despite running a successful family and having a wonderful family and a good social life? Some of the CEOs don’t actually do the blogging themselves but hire really talented people to write their blogs for them. Many of the CEOs still choose to have strong control over the topics and the tone of how blogs are written but the leave all the actual writing to a virtual assistant or a copywriter. This means that the virtual assistant will do the research, recommend topics, write actual blogs but get approval from the CEO to publish the blogs.
There are also some CEOs who choose not to be too controlling of the contents that are being published on the blog as long as they know the writer is competent and perfectly capable of creating contents that represent the company well.
What’s good about having a CEO blog or an official blog from the company is that the public gets information direct from the company. The blog can be a great tool for companies to present information directly related to the business to the public. Blogs can also present more personal views about the business and the products because they are a less formal channel than the company website. A blog can really help the public understand what the business stands for, what the business wants to achieve, the value of the products and services and anything else the company wants the public to know more of.
