Is Your Virtual Assistant a Craiglist Killer Wannabe?

Having recently watched the Craiglist Killer several thoughts came to mind, in particular just who are you connecting with on Facebook and other social networks?

Of course meeting a Med student with a handsome face, humor and the gift of the gab, might certainly woo the innocence out of you, like poor Megan McAllister who must be in therapy with the deceit and betrayal of the guy she loved, who could put on that Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde apparel so easily. Who would have thought that that nice doctor had a split personality, now would you?

Well anyhow I certainly hope that Megan was able to get over the shock and apply herself to Med School, where she can apply her energies more suitably.

The problem is that many of us do not have an inkling of who we are meeting on the social networks or for that matter on dating sites, do we? I can easily think of the phrase 'where Angels fear to tread.....' but success stories are also bountiful and my niece met a Claude Van Dam lookalike in Barcelona, Spain and now they have two children and are very happy together.

That aside have you ever thought who you are buying from and how they are going to deliver their services? How many of you have been let down by poor service, a bad trader and been left feeling uncomfortable - well your not the only ones, I've been bitten too! But for every poor service there are good services out there - you just have to find them!

Having recently seen the Social Network at least Mark Zuckerberg did the right thing and paid them off.

So at the back of Facebook there is the business and the advertising and the money, that makes the world go around.

So are the businesses who appear at the top of the pages on Google as good as you think they are? Probably not when it comes to money fueling their positions on the pages, or the links they have made? You should not be as gullible to take the first one, should you?

Or is their position like taking candy from a baby?

Gee Whizz I hope not, but if I was looking for a virtual personal assistant I would be concerned about references wouldn't you? Or is it just price that motivates you?

For example on our site we have our references laid out so that you can see who their from, with contact details - we want to be totally above board and open about what we do.

We are not looking to be the cheapest, but rather to give you the quality that you deserve.

Have you ever visited our web site? Or followed us on twitter ?
